Youth Kinetics - Cheerleading/Tumbling

Cheerleading Classes

Cheerleading - Ages 5 and up
This class will focus on the fundamentals of cheerleading. Tumbling (front rolls, cartwheels, etc.), jumps, motions and the introduction to dance will be taught. 45 minutes.

Pre-Team Cheerleading
This class is for participants who have successfully progressed through the cheerleading class and want to master the basic and advanced motions, jump, dance, stunts and tumbling skills for the competitive cheer team. 45 minutes.

Pre-School Cheer Team - Ages 4-5
Participants will learn motion, jumps, tumbling, cheers, dance and will perform from October-March. Practices are held on Monday and Wednesdays.

All-Star Cheerleading Team
Participants who make the team through the Spring try-outs may join the All-Star competitive team. Team members are taught a choreographed routine to music consisting of stunts, dance, jumps and tumbling. Participants will compete with other squads of the same age division.

CHEER CLINIC/TRYOUTS - Ages 4 and up
Do you want to be an All-Star Cheerleader? Come learn a choreographed routine with cheer chants and motions. Participants will have a chance to tryout for our All-Star Cheer team.

CHEER STUNT CLINIC - Ages 4 and up
If you want to experience or better your stunting technique, then this clinic is for you!

DANCE CLINIC/TRYOUTS - Ages 7 and up
Do you love to dance? Come learn a hip-hop routine!

Tumbling Classes
Beginning/Intermediate/Advanced
This class will teach the fundamentals of tumbling, which give an important foundation for learning the more complex tumbling skills. Skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, round offs, walkovers and the beginning stages of back handsprings, tucks, layouts, full twists, etc. will be taught. 45 minutes.
